A friend took us here. The food was over-the-top delicious. Every single thing that we tried was so flavorful. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They check in regularly. Over the top service. We will be back again.
Absolutely a hidden gem in the city of Peoria! The food the service were all impeccable. We had a party of 18 for an after wedding brunch, and Michael and his staff went above and beyond to make sure that we were taken care of and wanted for nothing. Highly recommend you try the brisket, ribs, greens,... Everything on the menu and dessert. And don't get me started on the watermelon mimosas I could've finished a pitcher They were so good.
Eclectic vibe and service, We went for lunch and we enjoyed our meals; I got called into work so I couldn't finish my fish and spaghetti but I enjoyed what I had and even had a good talk with the owner who was nice.
Went with a party of 13 people. We were well served and the food was great. The owner was smoking meats out back. The beans were one of the best I ever had in any restaurant and the price was very reasonable. Definitely recommend this place.
This is hands down my most favorite restaurant in Peoria. The food and service are both absolutely AMAZING. It's the catfish, shrimp and grits, sweet potatoes, cornbread, greens and Mac & cheese for me, I will eventually try other items but it's so good. I love the buffet style as well. I will always support this restaurant.
We came in close to closing, but were welcomed with a big smile by our waitress. Restaurant was so clean, well lit, and decorated funky chic(?!?) ...formally Sexy Little Eatery, my 90 yo mom has wanted to eat ther for quite some time...her friends, elderly too, couldn't get over the name...but my mom is quite cool...anyway, orders were rib dinner/2 sides, catfish fillet dinner, and fish and chips....the menu was on the shorter side, but had something for everyone (we did not want to punish with a fried chicken order bc they make ALL meals to order!, NEXT time AND I prefer a shorter menu, makes fresher/better prepared in my opinion) sides we chose were Mac n cheese (mom sd best restaurant Mac and cheese shes ever had, and remember that's a 90 year old talking...) fries, greens w/cornbread. All were fantastic, and made us want to try the others. Portions were generous and all agreed, tasty. Prices were very fair which led us to adding two impressive looking pieces of coconut cake to go (plus we were FULL) yellow cake with a healthy layer of toasted coconut buttercream frosting and yes delicious when we devoured it later...the owner/chef came out when we were finished thanking us for coming in as he did the other table left....he stated he recently changed the name for the very reason talked about above. He didn't think it would be a hinderance, but finally decided sharing his delicious food was more important than name...so wa-la; A Seasoned Little Eatery is the new title of a wonderful 'seasoned' 8 year restaurant! We are going back soon and definitely intrigued/looking forward to their brunch !!!! A good brunch is almost impossible to find , and theirs changes each Sunday but looked very impressive!! if you haven't tried this place in the 8 years it's been open, I'm sad and I'd say you've been missing out...we just moved back to Peoria and can tell this will be a regular place....

This is the best Sunday brunch in Peoria and, somehow, it isn't listed anywhere. Spectacular soul food/American breakfast. Just incredible.
Delicious food and wonderful atmosphere! The ribs are unimaginably tender and perfectly seasoned. The brisket is as close to perfection as possible. The pulled pork made me drool on myself. And then there's the French fries... even if the fries were all that was available, I'd still come here for a four course meal of their fries! Thank you Mike for the extraordinary service and excellent local eatery!
